For aviation students

For students intending to major in Aviation.

  • In the first year of the aviation program, your tuition fee is Mount Allison’s full-time undergraduate tuition fee ONLY.
  • Before you can start your flight training, you must complete your first year at Mount Allison.
  • Once you start your flight training (usually in second year), your tuition fee is a blend of Mount Allison and MFC Training tuition, which covers all ground school and flight training, in addition to courses you take at Mount Allison.

All flight training takes place at the MFC Training campus in Dieppe, an easy 25-minute drive from Sackville. You're required to provide your own transportation between the two campuses. This is not included in your tuition and fees.

Your main costs at university

To estimate how much your first year of university will cost, it's important to consider costs beyond your tuition fees, including books, living costs, meals, and more.

Tuition and student fees
  • Tuition is what you pay for your classes. This depends on the program you want to study and whether you are a Canadian or international students.
  • You also pay student fees each year. Some are mandatory, while you can opt out of others.
Living costs
  • Living costs are just that — how much it will cost to live, encompassing all expenses outside of tuition while studying.
  • Coming from a different province or country? You should also include the costs of trips home.
  • If you're an international student, add the costs for your visa and study permits.
