Position description

The Drama & Screen Studies Program at Mount Allison invites applications for a part-time position to teach DRAM 1701 (Introduction to Drama Studies) on campus in the winter term of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Anticipated class size is 60 students and this course meets twice a week for a total of 3 class hours. The course introduces the fundamentals of drama studies including areas such as genre, performance theory, textual analysis, and history as they each emerge under, and respond to, shifting and specific theatrical and cultural environments.

Applicants should have a minimum of an MA/MFA degree in Drama or a related area. Teaching experience at the university level would be an asset.
